Lake Ruby Gets a Trim

I am pleased to report that, at the request of some of our residents, the underbrush on Lake Ruby Dam has been cleared away a little early this year. This should allow our local amateur anglers a clean perch to sneak in some extra casts this summer. Feel free to head on down to see what's biting and share a photo to the Ruby Forest Facebook page if you catch something memorable. But remember, Lake Ruby is a strict catch and release environment - no feeding the family. Also, beware of the 50 pound grass carp. Rumor is, one of them ate a whole tennis racket back in 2007.
