Ruby Forest Fall Fest

If you didn't see the announcement on our Events link, the Ruby Forest Fall Festival is scheduled for October 28th from 3pm to 6pm at the Ruby Forest Clubhouse. All HOA members are invited.

This year's event will feature the annual Ruby Forest Chili Cook-Off. Bring your favorite recipe in a crock pot or just stop by to try the entries and vote for your favorite. We will have bowls and beverages set out and whether you like spicy, mild, or vegetarian -- there will be something for everyone.

Even if you don't like chili, we have many fun activities planned for both children and adults. The Fall Fest also features a Carved Pumpkin Contest for all ages. Bring by your most impressive pre-carved pumpkins to be entered into the competition. Stick around to vote for the one you like the most. Prizes will be awarded for best adult and best child.

There will be Fall-themed games and activities setup inside and outside the clubhouse, and will be broadcasting the big College Football game on the TV. We are also adding a Costume Contest this year. All Participants in costume will get a prize, with something extra special for the best child and adult ensemble. Just be aware that with some smaller children in attendance, you might want to save the severed limbs and hanging eyeballs for the 31st.

Finally, our October Yard of the Month Winner will be announced during the Festival so remember to get out those Fall Decorations before the 28th! If you know of a house that deserves special consideration, please contact the HOA Board with the address to make sure that we appreciate the resident's hard work.
